Trap, 2000. Installation in two parts.

 

Trap was made in response to the American winter landscape at the Vermont Studio Center, in Johnson, USA. This two-part installation consists of representations of snow inside the studio, and of icicles collected around the city and hanging in the exhibition space. I added salt and sugar to the icicles, which, when they melted, could be consumed in drops by the public.
